Itinerary

DAY 1: CUSCO – PISCACUCHO KM. 82 - HUAYLLABAMBA (A) (C)

We transport you from your hotel in our comfortable private bus, after crossing the towns of Chincheros, Urubamba and Ollantaytambo in the "Sacred Valley of the Incas" we go to Piscacucho at Km. 82 of the Cusco - Machupicchu railway, starting place of our trek. We have lunch in Miskay with a stop of approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, then we resume the walk to the first camp in Huayllabamba, after a guided tour of the Archaeological Group of Llactapata.

DAY 2: HUAYLLABAMBA - WARMIWAÑUSCA - PACAYMAYO (B) (A) (C)

After breakfast, the hardest part of the road begins, with a steep ascent, followed by a 3-hour walk until reaching the first pass, called Warmiwañusca (Dead Woman), at approximately 4,200 meters above sea level, here you will not only enjoy incredible panoramic views of all

DAY 3: PACAYMAYO - PUYUPATAMARCA - WIÑAYHUAYNA (D) (A) (C)

After the energetic breakfast we begin the walk until ascending to the second most important step of the route at 3,800 masl during the journey we will enjoy a guided visit to the archaeological zone of Runkuraqay where we again find important vestiges of the Inca Culture, we continue to Sayacmarca place where we will have lunch to continue walking and observing how the geography changes from dry and mountainous to tropical green on this route we find Puyupatamarca (town in the clouds), another important archaeological monument after another short walk we arrive at the last camp in Wiñaywayna, where after After dinner, we will spend the night.

DAY 4: WIÑAYHUAYNA - MACCHU PICCHU - CUSCO (B)

After breakfast, one hour walk through the forest to the Inti Punku (Sun Gate), known as the gateway to Machupicchu, from where you have an impressive panoramic view of the citadel. Upon arrival in Machupicchu, guided tour of the citadel, visiting the main remains and monuments, such as the. Main Square, the. Circular Tower, the Sacred Solar Clock, the royal rooms, the temple of the Three Windows and the cemeteries. Free time to walk around the citadel and then meet the rest of the group and be transferred by bus to Aguas Calientes for lunch (not included). In the afternoon return to Cusco by train. Upon arrival in Cusco, transfer to the selected hotel.
