ITINERARY
DAY 1: CUSCO - WIÑAYWAYNA - AGUAS CALIENTES (A) (C)
We leave Cusco very early in the morning to Km. 104, where the trek begins. Then we visit the archaeological rest of Challabamba (2250 m.a.s.l.) Here were obtained agricultural products to be taken to Machupicchu. We continue the hike to Wiñaywayna, on the way we will have beautiful views of the Urubamba River and the opportunity to observe different types of the Orchid family. Once in Wiñaywayna we will stop to visit this important archaeological site. After a well-deserved lunch, in the afternoon we continue our hike to Machupicchu, which we will see from a distance from the Inti Punku (Sun Gate) on a beautiful afternoon before continuing to Aguas Calientes. We stay in a hostel in the village.
DAY 2: MACHUPICCHU - CUSCO (B)
After breakfast we arrive at MachuPicchu (2400 m.a.s.l.). Guided tour of approximately 2 hours followed by free time for lunch. In the afternoon we return to Cusco by train, transfer to the Hotel. End of services.
