Waqrapukara (from Quechua, waqra, 'horn' and pukara, 'fortress'; 'horn-shaped fortress') or Huacrapucará is an Inca archaeological complex located in the peasant community of Huayqui, annex of Percca in the district of Acos, located in the province of Acomayo in the department of Cusco. It is located near the Apurímac River at 4,300 m asl. It was built by the canchis and then conquisted by the Incas.

ITINERARY

We start from 4:30 to 5:30 with the pick-up from their respective hotels, to go for 1 hour and 30 minutes to Cusipata to have breakfast and continue by bus for 2 hours to Santa Lucia and Punta Carretera from where we start 1 hour walk to Waqrapukara , where we canphotograph the landscape, after the guided tour we will walk back to the starting point and take the bus back to Cusipata where we will stop for lunch and finally return to Cusco 18:15 pm
